Year 11 Easter Holiday Must-Do Tasks: HISTORY

Over the Easter holiday period, all Year 11 students are expected to complete the 'must-do' work tasks set by each subject area. Students must bring back to school their completed work on the first week back after the holidays for their teachers to assess. Invites to the Prom will depend on students completing these tasks. The work is designed to support coursework completion and exam preparation.

HISTORY

To keep up your revision and improve your chances of getting your target grade, you must work on the following.

1. Complete two ‘Explain’ questions of your choice from section A of the paper 2 questions booklet

2. Complete one ‘Explain’ question of your choice and one ‘How far do you agree’ question from section B of the paper 2 questions booklet

3. Complete one ‘Explain’ question of your choice and one ‘How far do you agree’ question from section C of the paper 2 questions booklet.

These are to be handed to your teacher in your first lesson back after Easter.

REMEMBER you have a practice paper 2 History exam the second we back after Easter.

Extra work:

1. Attempt more exam questions from the booklets provided.

2. Use BBC GCSE Bitesize History – Modern World History – read through USA 1919-1941. There are videos to watch and straight forward tests you can attempt

3. You have been given revision booklets for every topic we have studied (both Paper 1 and Paper), read through these and produce your own notes or diagrams to help you revise.
