Students visit Careers Event Live in Birmingham

Student photo careers live event posing

As a part of the school's Gold Award CEIAG programme, forty eight Year 10 students attended a Careers Live event at the Birmingham NEC. Students were able to talk to different careers providers and universities about the next steps after their studies at Little Lever School.

Students learnt about apprenticeships, university life and the kind of courses available for them to study when they get there. Valuable information about financing university, social events and the benefits at attending university was also shared. Students were told about different jobs and career paths they can pursue after they have completed their GCSE exams.

It was an excellent event with lots of careers providers across a whole range of sectors such as the NHS, Mercedes Benz, Da Vinci Construction, Actuaries and Banking. A number of universities were also represented which students found invaluable for course information.
