END OF TERM & NEW TERM ARRANGEMENTS

CJP 3905

A message from Mr McKeon, Principal,

I am writing to inform you that on Thursday 19th July the school will be closing at 12.15pm for the start of the summer break. The day will be a non-uniform day to raise funds for selected charities at the request of our students who have shown a passion and determination to support those in need.  It has been great to see so many of our students approach me, and write to me asking us to raise money for charity.  I feel very proud of our students for continuously looking to help others in need.

Please ensure that your child attends school up to the end of term as any absence from school in the final days will be recorded as an unauthorised absences unless supported by a valid reason and/or medical certification.

On Monday 16th July, reward trips will be taking place for students.  Those students not attending the trip must attend school as normal.  Students will not be required to wear uniform but should wear appropriate clothing to participate in a planned activities day.

As there will be no afternoon school bus service on Thursday 19th July it is important for parents/carers to make alternative arrangements for their child to get home if they would normally travel by bus.  There will be no lunch available on this day, however, students who are entitled to receive a free school meal will be provided with a packed lunch.  This should be requested from Mrs Pearson in advance.

On their return to school, Tuesday 4th September 2018, students should arrive at school at the following times and assemble as indicated:
