Joel has compiled a report on his own experiences from the event:

"I'd like to thank Little Lever School for giving me the opportunity to represent the Music department and school at the recent PiXL celebration awards. London was a fantastic experience and it gave me the opportunity to see some of the most iconic places in the world such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Downing Street and so much more. Most importantly, I was able to play at one of the most iconic venues of all time.
Playing in front of a vast amount of people and being able to watch awards being given out to the most resilient students. It gave me a big confidence boost as I had never played to that many people before. I also had the honour to meet actor of 50 years James Cosmo who has been in some huge series and movies such as, Trainspotting, Troy, Game of Thrones and more. Thank you once again to the school and Pixl for making this possible."

The school is incredibly proud of his success.
