Pupil Premium and Year 7 Catch-up Funding

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.  The funding is allocated to schools for use with pupils who  are presently known to be eligible for free school meals (FSM Ever 6), children who have been adopted from care, children who have been looked after continuously for more than 6 months (CLA) or are regarded as a service children (Service Ever 4).

The year 7 catch-up premium funding, introduced in 2014/15, is designed to help schools support year 7 pupils who did not reach expected standards in KS2 reading and maths tests.

The school provides an annual breakdown of Pupil Premium Funding.
