Year 11 Easter Holiday Must-Do Tasks: PHOTOGRAPHY

Over the Easter holiday period, all Year 11 students are expected to complete the 'must-do' work tasks set by each subject area. Students must bring back to school their completed work on the first week back after the holidays for their teachers to assess. Invites to the Prom will depend on students completing these tasks. The work is designed to support coursework completion and exam preparation.

To keep up your revision and improve your chances of getting your target grade, you must work on the following.

Photography Unit 1 (Coursework) - 60% of final grade

1. Ensure ALL photographs have been taken for the 2 compulsory coursework projects of Urban Photography and Portrait Photography, plus the additional Mock Exam project which consisted of the themes of 'Groups', 'Landmarks', 'Clothing' or 'Reflections'.

2. Complete all PhotoShop editing techniques PowerPoint slides for the projects listed above. These consist of screen shots taken from the editing of photos on PhotoShop or other software and written notes explaining how and why you have edited them in that style.

3. Complete a PowerPoint slide which explains and visually shows the plan of how you will present the prints for the coursework projects listed above. Are you planning on presenting your prints on a mount board, in a photo album, a set of frames or in a creation of your own design (canvas, hand-made book or recycled frame)?

4. Bring into school on Monday 24th April any materials you intend to display your final prints on.
