Little Lever musicians play a non-stop concert all day for the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund

On Wednesday 12th July Little Lever students, led by Mr Poole, played a sponsored concert all day in the drama centre, combining all the different music groups we have in school. Students performed from 8.45 to 3.05 to raise money for the ‘We Love Manchester Emergency Fund’.

The marathon challenge involved solo, small group and entire ensemble pieces. The concert came to a climactic conclusion with a rousing rendition of Oasis' "Don't Look Back in Anger" anthem, which has become a theme for the tragic events which happened in Manchester at arena. A video of this will be added to the school's blog soon.
